UV printer daily maintenance and holiday maintenance

1. Print nozzle test every morning and evening, and keep the test strip for at least 7 days.
Clean the print head daily, at least 1-3 days if the printer is not in use, and check the nozzle test.
Ensure all print heads (color, white, varnish, glue) all nozzles are normal, if there are some nozzles clogged need to be cleaned in time.

2. Working environment temperature and humidity, the best temperature: 20-28 ℃, the best humidity 50%-70%. (need attention)
Temperature effect: 

When the temperature decreases, the viscosity of the ink will increase, and the fluidity of the ink will become worse, resulting in frequent ink breaking and other phenomena.
If UV ink is in a high temperature environment for a long time, it is easy to precipitate, and then block the print head.

Humidity impact: If the ambient humidity is lower than 50%, use a humidifier to increase the ambient humidity.
First, the static electricity in a dry environment is high, which is harmful to the device.
Secondly, when drying, the ink volatilization rate will be accelerated, and the ink on the surface of the nozzle will dry faster, resulting in blockage of the print head.
In the printing process, it is easy to show flying ink, frequent wire break and oblique spray, etc., if you do not pay attention to the maintenance of the print head may damage the print head.

3. UV ink use and preservation of attention

UV ink in ultraviolet light is easy to solidify, when filling UV ink must take a measure to avoid the light. Avoid ink solidification, causing the print head nozzle blockage. The UV ink should be used immediately after opening, and the unused ink must be sealed immediately. On the one hand, it is to avoid the contact between ink and light, and the other is to prevent dust and other debris in the air from entering the ink.

4. Emphasize the action of cleaning the head,carriage bottom plate, scraper, ink stack and other actions on working days

Before and after printing every day, use the cotton swab and dust-free cloth dipped in the cleaning liquid, clean up the bottom plate of the car, and clean up the residual waste ink around the scraper and ink stack. Prevent the curing ink from filling the spray hole when wiping the nozzle after curing.

When not printing, make sure that the nozzle is sealed with the ink stack cap to prevent light and dust prevention. More than five days without the machine, clean the ink cap and then put a little moisturizing liquid, clip all the ink pipe clips, ensure that the nozzle and the ink cap seal and then shut down, avoid dust and light source entry, usually at least 3-5 days to clean the print head regularly.

5. Check regularly whether the LED lamp glass is clean to ensure the light transmittance of the light source. To not affect the curing effect. Clean the quartz glass surface of the UV lamp weekly. Wipe the surface of the glass with a dust-free cloth dipped in alcohol. This operation is required when the UV lamp is fully cooled.

6. Holiday maintenance
If the printer is not used for more than 5 days or during holidays, clean the print head first, test the print nozzle, confirm that all print head nozzles are in normal condition, add moisturizing liquid to the ink stack cap (ink corresponding special moisturizing liquid), seal and moisturize the print head, clamp or fold all ink tube clips, and turn off the printer power.
